Elena Gual: Art with Strength and Sensitivity

Born in 1994 in Mallorca, Elena Gual is a contemporary artist whose work is defined by figurative painting done with a palette knife. Her style is immediately recognizable by the layers of texture that convey pure emotion and turn every canvas into a sensory experience.

A Unique Language

The palette knife is her tool of expression. With it, Elena shapes female faces and bodies that celebrate the diversity, strength, and sensitivity of women. Texture becomes skin, presence, and vital energy.

Her work does not aim to idealize, but rather to portray the truth of each woman through empathy and respect, granting each figure a unique identity and a silent voice that is perceived in the gesture and the material.

Training and International Career

Elena trained at prestigious academies in Florence and London, cities that shaped her artistic vision and allowed her to consolidate her own artistic language.

Her career has reached international scope, with exhibitions in cities such as Paris, Venice, London, New York, and Madrid, where she has showcased the power of a style that connects tradition and contemporary art.

Art as a Meeting

Each piece is born from an encounter. From the women Elena has met and their real stories, which inspire intimate and personal portraits. In her creative process, the artist seeks to capture not only the appearance but also the essence and presence of each figure.

Her work is, ultimately, a tribute: a celebration of the transformative power of art and the ability of women to inspire new ways of seeing and feeling the world.
